Allrighty, Nightketeers, Elficionados, Elfanatics, members of B.A.M.F...whatever you want to call us...it's time for a quick roll call!
I was "M.I.A" for about 2 months now, but I'm back full time, and I want to meet all the newcomers and give the oldcomers another chance to introduce themselves.
Rules for this thread are that you only get ONE post in it, so make it count! Tell us whatever you want us to know about you and how long you've been around here.
I'm Christopher, a.k.a. Knight_Crawler, a.k.a. Knighty, a.k.a. Fearless Leader.
I created this message board last November after discovering and falling in love with the infamous Nightcrawler thread over at Wizard World. I'm very glad that it's still here, as successful as ever, and I know that the big draw here is the company.
Thanks for being so cool, all.
I'm from a relatively small town (pop. 72,000) in Colorado, called Greeley. I'm 20 years old and a student at the University of Northern Colorado. I'm majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising and a Minor in Visual Arts. I'm putting myself through college by delivering a free publication called the Employment News.
Obviously, my favorite character is Nightcrawler, although Ultimate Nightcrawler is quickly catching up with the core version. I haven't really been keeping up much with the core books because of monetary constraints and because they've fell short of expectations. But the Ultimate books are very good reads, and if you're not reading them, you're missing out!
If you'd like to talk online, I'm [email protected] on MSN Messenger and ReverseMyRewind on AOL and AIM.
Anyway, that's a bit about me...YOUR TURN!
P.S...for everyone, if you truly want to show your Elfish comradery and love for this board, both here and on other boards, simply add this to your signature...

Okay, I'm MoonbeamDancer, a resident fanfic writter here. I've got tons of nick names, this is just a few of them. Beems (Spatch gave that one), Beemie(BAMF), Koneko-hime, (Japanese, means Kitten-Princess and my best friend Rachel gave that one.), Rei-chan(take off the "chan", sound familar? Rachel), Neko(Cat, Rachel again), Kid (step-dad) and Koneko(Kitten, Rachel yet again).
I've been writting on and off for years, but started doing it continually (sp?)my Junior year of high school. I've done around somewhere between 30 to 40 fics, I think. If any of the new people hear any honey, whipped cream, or pooh porn jokes on here, that's kinda my fault. (lol)
I'm a Sophmore in college, (don't look or feel like it) and my major is Graphic Arts with an intrest in web design. (Used to be Drama.)
Speaking of which, I've got 4 sites and you can find them all at http://surf.to/MoonShadows The first is CATS (a musical I like), second is X-MEN, third is Sailor Moon (an anime I like), and fourth is Big Wolf On Campus (a t.v. show I like).
My birthday is this Satuerday, I'll be 20. (Again with the "don't look or feel like it.")
I started having a thing for X-MEN when my step dad gave me all of his old Uncanny X-MEN. I thought Kurt was kinda cool looking then. Then, last year I realized that he was hot, and went looking on the web for sites. I found this link on Rex's site and haven't looked back since.
If anyone wants to e mail me it's [email protected] (or if ya wanna IM, use that one as well) or [email protected]

Hi, I'm Rex Luscus. The name, if any of you should be wondering, is from an old Philip Jose Farmer story called "Riders of the Purple Wage" and literally translates as "king one-eyed". As the inimitable Ovenmitboy once said, it's both a "nob gag" and an allusion to a certain proverb ... but enough about that.
I'm 23 years old and I live in New York City. I have no discernable profession, no life goals, and no dreams for the future. In my spare time, which is copious, I run a little website dedicated to the fuzzy one called "The Nightcrawler Index" (see link below). It's mostly taken up by fanfiction, fanart, and inane editorializing by me, but I'm absurdly proud of it. If you take a look at it, you'll notice that the fanfic and fanart is frequently slash-themed, as slash is my other passion. I think the term is "slash-slut" -- yes, that's what I am. If you don't know what slash is, check out my site, you'll learn real quick.
I fell in love with Kurt when I got into X-Men comics a few years back. Before that, I only read the high-profile arty comics like "The Sandman" and "Watchmen" -- my favorite comic book character of all time is still Rorschach. But then I checked out one of those Essential X-Men books, the one with John Byrne's run in it, and became fascinated by the tailed demon fellow whose face was always in shadow. I had no idea he was blue until I bought an "Excalibur" comic. Speaking of "Excalibur", Alan Davis continues to be pretty much my favorite comics artist of all time, though these days I really love Frank Quitely, the dude who's currently drawing "New X-Men".
If you want to get ahold of me, it's pretty easy. [email protected], KingOneEyed on AIM, and Rex on MSN Messager. And do check out the website, and let me know what you think of it.
See you around.

one chance? Okay, here goes
The name is Rebekah, but all of you know me as Lasombra. I am almost 16 and I live in a tiny town in Colorado called Durango. Most likely no one has heard of it, but that's okay. I am a Mexican/German mix. My hobbies are sketching and writing. I am originally from Mexico, but I don't speak a word of the language, I was just born there.
My nicknames include Wise guy, Bek (rather than Becky), Shadow, Creeper (don't ask) and Ricochet Rebekah.
I haven't been here long, but I love to talk about Nightcrawler and meet new people. My current e-mail is [email protected], or [email protected]. I have loved Nightcrawler since I saw an old comic my cousin had with him. I saw Kurt and I asked: "Who's the cute blue guy?" That was just over a year ago.
My favorite Kurts are Original, Ultimate, Priest, and Evo. If anyone cares to talk to me or get to know me further, feel free to write.
My MSN messenger name is [email protected]
Yahoo is Psylockes_psi_knife
I suppose that's all you need to know.
See you all around!

HOORAY! KC IS BACK! We missed you buddie
Okay, for the record: My name is Ellis, live in Antwerp (that's in Belgium. Belgium is the size of a poststamp and inbetween France, Holland and Germany) Age 31, job description reads "lighting engineer". This means that you can ask me anything about lamps, and I'll bore you to death with technobabble. I work for a manufacturer of lighting (Sylvania) and I have a degree in architecture.
When I'm not at work, I make websites. http://www.blue-elf.com is an example of that. For the rest I do a bit of illustration and modelling, I collect comics and I like NC, obviously. Also, I'm the staff artist of http://www.theonering.net . Tolkien is my other big passion!

It's been a while since I posted here... but I come back every once in a while to read up (got my work cut out for me this time) and make sure everyone's still alive.
I go by Jyuu-chan, which has been my 'net handle for about 4 years now. I'm a 19 year old working girl in the wonderful city of Seattle, WA. Currently not schooling, though I plan to attend the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!) whenever I decide there's something academic I actually wanna pursue.
I'm highly interested in all things anime, doing some of my own art and writing, spending stupid amounts of money on comic books and related items and, of course, Kurt Wagner. I liked the Elf ever since I spotted him in my younger days, but never managed to learn more about him until I had the cashflow to teach myself.
In recent news, I just completed my Excalibur collection.
All 125 issues in one white comic box, sitting in my closet for whenever I wanna reread them. w00t!
